Ann Blyth is a geomatics specialist and has over twenty-five years experience in the field of GIS, remote sensing and relational database technology. She has managed and participated in numerous projects related to land use planning, wildlife habitat mapping, the development of environmental sensitivity models and indicators related to coastal and terrestrial ecosystems, and accuracy assessments. Justin McPherson is a geomatics specialist with a focus on environmental monitoring, development projects and operations management. He has over 18 years of experience with GIS, remote sensing and databases. His work focusses on assisting practitioners in science, engineering and policy build geography into their decision processes. Lisa Zetterberg is a GIS analyst with a background in geography. She has participated in numerous projects using multi-temporal Landsat images to map land use change. John Blyth is a Geomatics Technician with a background in cartography and remote sensing. He has over 17 years experience in the use of ArcGIS, ArcInfo, PurView Stereo Display, MapInfo and AutoCad for spatial analysis and cartographic production. He plays a key role in the development of cartographic map products and the integration of graphics and map-based data into presentation and hard copy formats. Sharyn Alexander is a geologist and geomatics analyst with over 12 years of experience in mineral exploration and mining with a focus on GIS and database administration. She has extensive experience in ESRI ArcGIS, MapInfo Professional, as well as database management software such as MS Access and SQL Server. Ms. Alexander has excellent organization, communication and writing skills, and is able to translate and standardize technical information into clear, concise documents for both technical and non-technical personnel. Robin Kite is a geomatics analyst with a background in biology and wildlife movement analysis. She has experience developing innovative spatial analysis approaches to support land use planning and habitat management initiatives in multi-use landscapes. Previously, Ms. Kite has applied spatial statistics and modelling techniques, such as utilization distributions and trajectory segmentation, to link variation in wildlife movement patterns to ecological and biological processes. She has five years’ experience with spatial data creation, editing, processing and interpretation using both proprietary (Ersi ArcGIS) and open source software (QGis, R statistical software) and automating complex geoprocessing workflows with Python and R-script.
